Any experience in preparing students for the LCCI EfB exam? #1 (permalink) Tue Sep 22, 2009 12:15 pm   Any experience in preparing students for the LCCI EfB exam?

Hi, is there anyone who has prepared people to sit an LCCI EfB exam (any level)? I'm asking because those exams seem to involve a lot of writing exercises which might no longer reflect the reality in the current business world.

So as an English language trainer or teacher, how do you motivate your students/clients to prepare for an LCCI English for Business Exam? What do you answer if they ask you why they can't or should prepare for the TOEIC test instead?

Also, do you use the sample exam questions provided by LCCI and if so what do you think of those materials?

Many thanks,
Torsten
