As we know, in the age of modern communication, besides the traditional ways of finding jobs formerly such as newspaper advertisement, personal recommendation…, we can seek a job by advertisements on TV or radio or Internet job search Websites. However, in my opinion, the best way to find a job is Internet job search Websites in particular or online job application in general.
First, online job application can bring to job seekers much more convenience and fastness than the other ways. The applicants can only prepare their online job application materials with a few click mouses. You can apply for specific positions at any time that is convenient for you, no matter where they are and how far you are away from the employers’ places. It only takes you a few minutes to send directly to online employers or through Internet job search Websites instead of spending one, two hours or more on submitting your resume directly to the employers or via post office. Therefore, your resume can be reviewed and interviews scheduled more quickly.
In addition, you can keep track of where you have applied. So it’s easier for you to remember skills and qualification you said in the job application for specific position and you can represent them more perfectly and clearly. You won’t be able to do that if you have multiple copies of your resume.
The second, utilizing online job application will save your money because you don’t need to print, copy, mail, and bear the postage. You won’t also have to buy many kinds of diffirent newspapers everyday to find a suitable position.
The third, online job application will bring to you more chances to find a job because you will get much newer information about jobs on Internet. Moreover, nowadays, employers like online recruitment more than the traditional newspaper classifieds, especially with the big companies that hire many employees, because they can manage a number of resumes easily and minimize the amount of paper in their office.
For personal recommendation, you will have fewer chances to find a job because in reality, there aren’t many personal recommendations for each person. Moreover, this way isn’t effective for people with not much experience of working.
In summary, online job application is a progressive and mordern way of seeking jobs. So it brings many benefits to job seekers and nowadays, it is considered as the best way of all. |
