The topic under light is whether nation's success should be measured by its scientific and artistic advancements or by its business success.In my opinion nation's success should be measured considering scientific and artistic and scientific
advancements.This is because above two factors are roots of business
development.In a way they are important resources for good business.

One reason i think scientific and artistic advancements should be yardstick for nation's success is that stronger these qualities the more stronger will be the nation.So nation can become global power with these qualities which is prerequisite for business sucess.A nation with good scientific advancements can do business with all other nations by selling their latest technology which in turn improves business.
Scientific advancements and business are directly proportinoal to each other.

Other reason i believe scientic and artistic advancements shoulb be gauged for nations sucess is quality of life.It is only with scientific advancement comes sublime quality of life.Developed countries like USA,UK have superior quality of life because of advancements in science and technology.This is the area where developing countries lack power.Even though developing countires do good business they cant overcome developed nations unless they also acheive scientific advancements.

Finally i think there will be many factors for measuring the sucess of a nation.
Among those primarily scientic and artistic advancements have to be given priority over others.There is no use of business prowess if a nation doesn't have stable scientific breakthrough.
