Hi, everyone. I'm from China. #17 (permalink) Mon Oct 05, 2009 8:08 am   Hi, everyone. I'm from China.

:D
I am glad that you are interested in study in China.
I have to admit, China's education is sort of different from other countries.
Our basic knowledge is well due to the teaching style.
You know, no food in class, no chat with your classmates if not necessary.
However, students in China have their own strengths. For example, they can acquire a knowledge of Chinese profond culture and long but meaningful history.
That's why many foreigners want to learn Chinese or something.
Hey,Ayu Dyah! Have you ever been to China?

Hi, everyone. I'm from China. #19 (permalink) Tue Oct 06, 2009 12:48 pm   Hi, everyone. I'm from China.

Oh, Ayu, you really should have a visit to China. :D
Of course, I know Guangdong University. However, my university is in Shanghai. That is, Shanghai International Studies University.
How old are you? I'm a junior student, and my major is accounting. During my leisure time, I often do some part-time jobs, such as tutors, including Mandarin language.
So, I definitely love to help you with it.
"pe-phe-me-fe", I guess they are the initial consonants of Chinese syllable. It's the basic way we learn Chinese when we were quite young.
You see, "b" stands for "pe", "p" stands for "phe", "m" stands for "me", and "f" stands for "fe". "b,p,m,f" are the initial consonants, just I mentioned above. While, "pe-phe-me-fe" are the pronunciations. That's how we read them.
Wish I can help you!
You are welcome! :)
