(Nowadays) it is common (knowledge) that most students (may) have to go (to other countries to become better) educat(ed). In such cases students have to live in university dorms or apartments. In any case they have to share the room with other college students,(s)o it is important that one has to choose (the) correct room mate with whom one is comfortable. In my case (I) (would like) my room mate to have qualities like reilability, honesty, conviviality (and) joviality. In the following paragraphs (I) will explain why (I consider each of these to be important considerations).
Reliability is one of the (most) important qualit(ies), because as a room mate one need(s) to share expenses and at times (you may) have to lend (them)money. So if your room mate is not reliable then always you have to think twice before lending money. And that security won(')t be there because you don't know when (they) will return the money. (A)nother important quality that (I) (always) check for is honesty. This is important in having trust in your friend, (b)ecause if a room mate is not honest (then)you never know when he will change the room or leave you.
Another quality that (I) yearn for in a room-mate, is conviviality and congeniality. This is because best friends (should) always (be) congenial.
One example to quote is; if a person is fat, (they) always tend to make friends with (other) fat people. This is human nature. (P)eople always get along well with people of (the) same nature.
For example if your room mate smokes and you (don't) like smoking, then there will be less chances of (your) getting (on) well together. (A)nother quality linked to congeniality is convivality. If your room mate is not sociable then there is less chance of getting (on) well (with them).
Finally (I) (would) seek (a) room-mate who is jovial, who bolsters me in all kind(s) of situation(s), i.e good or bad.
Ideally it(')s not (always) possible to find all (of) these qualities in a room-mate. (I)f you (do)find one then you (should) consider yourself very lucky. So one has to be very careful(when) choosing room-mates.
Not bad Sandy, not bad. _________________ Keep it simple ... Keep it interesting. |
