Hello Alan! I didn't understand at all this sentence:

Test No. incompl/inter-70 "How to criticize", question 5

There's really no virtue of me in pussy ......... around because I might as well tell you it's awful.

(a) treading
(b) footing
(c) walking
(d) tripping

Test No. incompl/inter-70 "How to criticize", answer 5

There's really no virtue of me pussy footing around because I might as well tell you it's awful.

Correct answer: (b) footing

Especially I didn't understand the meaning of word that follows after "of me"

There was originally "of me" what I considered to be correct, and now is "in me" in this test.
Why?
