Thanks Alan for your essay. I learned road signs 8 years ago when i came to Chicago, and it has been very useful for me. well, I am still learning English which is not easy at all. I think Alan's essay need some corrections, especially the conclusion. Some sentences are too long, and some are not in order.

Thanks, Helena.

Hi my Dear Torsten,

Thank You for Your next very interesting email, I would like to say that it is very helpfull for me in my language practice!

When I was reading your email about road sign I rembered that day, it was 2 days left when we with my wife were in Lvov, it is the beautifful town in the West of Ukraine. somewhere in the past it was the town of Poland but before Second World War the Soviet Union took this part from Poland and gave it to the in that time Socialist republic of Ukraine. We were there like a tourists! Before we went there we were printing the map witch we are going to use, it was our roud sign :-). We hanging around all the day and when we were decided to went to the train station we of course started to went back to the station! When we came back I looked at the map whtch I actually turn around, the direction was changed and instead of to turn of the right street we were turning to the left and went to, generally bad direction :-). Fortunatelly we both speak ukrainian and we ask people for the right direction! So it is very important to look after the sign on the road and in your map!

Be carefull with using the map!

Best regards,

Miroslav

hi,
without beating around the bush ,i want to express my regret about missing such a great opportunity to receive the fore-mentioned stories. i live in Iran where the folk have been deprived of any interesting ,useful ,educational material.not having the ability to send money for buying anything on the net is really frustrating .however it piques my curiosity to know whether there is another way for me to receive the stories without paying through the net?
