Communication is one of the most important aspect(s) in human life. We live by communicating (with) each other in one way or another. Among all (of) the forms of communication, I think face-to-face communication is the most convenient form, because this involves true actions. In my opinion it is by far the (most) effective form of communication.
One reason I think face-to-face communication is efficient, is that the chance of (making errors) is (lessened). Where-as in other forms of communication like E-mail, (or) telephone conversation(s) there might be (a) slight chance of misinterpretation.Even if the same happens in face-to-face communication we will (hopefully recognise our mistake) and hence will get a chance to correct (it). Apart from these, the kind of impression face-to-face communication creates in (the) receiver is much (more impressive) than any other forms of communication, because this involves true feelings.
Another reason why I feel face-to-face communication is better is (the) amount of distraction. In face-to-face communication there is very less chance of distraction because the person (with whom you are) communicating will be in front of you. Where-as in other forms of communication, the person who is communicating won't (be able to) keep an eye on you and (they) can easily get distracted. Another factor which favours face-to-face communication is interruption. In face-to-face communication there won't be any interruption unless (the) speaker or (the) listener want to take one. Where-as in other forms ( of communication) external factors come (into the) picture, like server load, telephone lines etc.
But in this ever increasing world of computers, people are (forever)looking towards other forms of communication, like video conference(s),visualization, (as a means of) (reducing) costs. In my opinion the amount of expenditure required for face-to-face communication is tantamount to video-conferencing because of (the) high cost expenditure. Finally I think every one should give face-to-face communication higher priority over other forms because it is most efficient, and no technology can beat its advantages.
Not bad at all Sandy, ....but,...... far too many face-to-face repetitions. _________________ If you need me, I'm here. |
