Hello, Yamilet.
Yours is a very peculiar example.
A lot of people with much higher TOEFL scores would be gravely disappointed with 22-L/22-W and would probably take 21 on the Reading section as nothing short of a personal insult, and yet they often studied for several months, taking the test numerous times and spending a small fortune on teachers and test fees, just to score 25 or 26 on the Speaking section. I myself think it was more luck than anything else that I scored 28, like you. But the curious thing is that judging from this scoring pattern your knowledge of the English language seems to be of a completely opposite nature.
But I digress. Congratulations on passing the test! I hope this will pave the way for many more successful steps in the career you wish to pursue. |

Thank you Nzuahp For your comment, and good luck to you too.
Topaze Thank you for the comment I do speak english fluently with minor grammar errors as I have been speaking it for about 8 years now. I have been out of school for so long, that is why I understand my other scores. Thanks for your wishes and the same to you if you are preparing for the test. _________________ Yamilet |

Hi Yamilet. From time to time, write for us in your spare time. Hello Bill. An honor to meet you here again. I'm glad to see that you keep writing here and you are still helpful for others. missing and loosing track of a friend is insufferable. I have been busy for a while, so that I couldn't write on this forum. _________________ The limits of my language are the limits of my universe.

Good evening Richard, I was wondering where you had disappeared to. I've missed your comments and input.
As you so rightly say, losing a good friend like Yamilet is hard to stomach, but like a daughter getting married, it's something that has to be faced and borne.
Lets just hope that she can sometimes find the time to let us know just how things are progressing in her busy life.
Regards, Bill. _________________ If you need me, I'm here. |

hahahaa You are so funny Kitos I didn't even realize, I write so fast that I forget all that hahaa My life is extremely busy at the moment. I'm taking night school on Mond and Weds, English for university it is going well but it is really complicated because it is literature and since I have not read many novels in the past it is hard for me to find the right books. Right now I have and assigment in which I need to find a book that represents Formalism, or Marxist criticism, Pshychological criticism, or Feminism any ideas?? haha I'm reading Hemingway now (To Have and Have not )which curiously enough talks about a man traffiking from Cuba to Key West in order to feed his family, but I can't find any of this criticism in it yet. So as you can see I'm doing a lot of research. Do you know of any book I can discuss for any of this criticism? it can also be a children book. Thank you for all your words Kitos, you are so sweet and this means a lot to me. I will never be able to forget you or any of the other people who helped me in the past, even if I don't come often.
I hope to hear any books suggestions soon. Thanks a lot _________________ Yamilet |
