Danger and risk

what's the difference between danger and risk??

Hi,

Danger is often a physical experience. You could see a notice with danger written on it near a lake where the ice is very thin and if you walked on it, you could fall into the water.

Risk is the same idea of danger (a possibility of danger) but in an abstract sense. You could say: If you walk on the ice, there is a risk you could fall into the water.
