A Twist in the Tale. #1 (permalink) Thu Oct 08, 2009 13:19 pm   A Twist in the Tale.

She's gone now. Gone forever, the love of my life, and the very reason for my living.

Torn from me at the whim of a driver who thought he drove better after a few pints of lager.
Of course he cried and said how desperately sorry he was, but I really can't forgive him for tearing my wife away from me by his selfish, thoughtless act.

I can't put into words just how much I miss her, and I will see her tear-stained face every moment into eternity.

How can I forget her warm kisses, and her endearing words of love?
How can I forget the happiness that we shared in doing the simple things that we did together?

Merely walking hand in hand, with no need to talk, for our hearts shared the same heart-beat.
The joy and tears of happiness that we shared at the births of our two children, now to be raised by only one parent.
To be alone for the many, many years ahead, and I can do nothing to change the situation.

We were truly born to be soul-mates until that tragic night, and now there is only one left, left to face the sympathies of our many friends and relatives.

They have been wonderful, and I thank them all for their many kindnesses and assistance.
I'm so sorry darling that you are gone from my life, and as I see you place flowers by my headstone I ask God to watch over you.

Kitos.
