It's noticeable that as you get older people tend to ignore you more and more.

Young women, who would have once at least smiled or who would have even turned around to give you another look-over now don't even glance at you.

You are reduced to talking to people of your own age, or even older to pass the time of day.

Today has been one of those days, only worse.

People who I see every morning in the streets and shops have totally ignored my cheery, "Good morning".

Even the paper-boy completely ignored me this morning, and pushed my morning paper into the mail-box without even giving me a second glance.
Well he hadn't better expect a Xmas tip this year!

Whatever are things coming to when folks just start to ignore you? Damned uncivil of them!

The young children to whom I wave each morning in the school-yard opposite my home, seem to have forgotten that I exist.
This morning several of them have looked up to my first-floor window, and when I waved they just turned away and went on walking into their classes.

Even their mothers, a group of cheerful chirpy young women, have totally ignored me today, in spite of my shouting,"Good morning" to them. Usually they all wave back.

Just now when I was going to the local supermarket, my best friend John just walked straight past me without a glance. I was dumbstruck!

What the hell is the matter with folk today?
One would think that I was invisible, or a ghost or something.

Kitos. :) :)

By the way, has anyone heard from Kitosdad lately? He's been absent for quite some time, I think.
