Grammatical mistakes: As another year is leaving for good, I can't help but... #1 (permalink) Sat Oct 10, 2009 16:58 pm   Grammatical mistakes: As another year is leaving for good, I can't help but...

What are the grammatical mistakes in the following??

As another year is leaving for good, I can't help but remember the sweet moments I had... And I know that I'll always miss my 2009 with all its good and bad times… I hope 2010 would have happiness for me; and I wish I could accomplish all the goals I have set for myself.

Why 2009 rocked:
Well, basically because I got my A in college. I made a lot of new friends and most importantly I got to write at the coolest mag. On Earth :D

Academic life: 2010 will be having a great surprise for me :) I am bound to choose my major for my junior year. It will be either Journalism or Public Relations. I hope I'd figure out what I really want…

Personal Life: Hooray!! I'll be getting my driving license out!! I can't even imagine the things I'll be able to do once I get it!!
I also hope I could become a better person, stay in touch with old friends and stop losing my temper so fast!
And I seriously need to cut down on the number of hours I spend on the computer… It really started getting to my vision and I have to wear geeky glasses. :S

A long-term Objective:
Become a famous news reporter :)

Thanks in advance,
Basma.

Sorry– this is not a free lunch. You'll have to do a little work on this yourself. Post your corrected version and I will check it again.

Why 2009 rocks: I know I should have used rocks, but this is due in December, by then; 2009 will be already over.

Better!

As another year leaves for good, I can't help but remember the sweet moments I had, and I know that I'll always miss 2009 with all its good and bad times. I hope 2010 will bring happiness for me, and I hope I can accomplish all the goals I have set for myself.

Do NOT use 3 dots to end a statement.
