when to use commas?

For me the best way to learn how to use commas is to read a lot and try to spot them (newspapers, books). I also recommend English Grammar in Use and the 'commas' chapter.

nathan smith, you should read THE NEW YORK TIMES or THE WALL STREET JOURNAL. I think these magazines can help you.
