IELTS is stand for International English Language Testing System. It's an English proficiency test like TOEFL but developed from UK and Australia. Maximum band is 9. they test 4 skills; listening, reading, writing and speaking and give you the band of each skill as well as the overall band so you will know what is your weak point.
