1. About money(can be used to examplify many topics)

Earning a lot of money can benefits other people, especially the poor. I always sympathize with people living in needy countries. They are so impoverished that they don't even have ability to reach a basic living requirement, such as fresh food and clean water. If I had enough money, I would donate maybe half of my wealth to help them get access to a healthier life. Of course hardly can I help everyone, but at least a few people are able to benefit from this sum of money. In addition, I can also raise a fund to provide them with better education. This way they will acquire necessary knowledge to promote their living conditions, for example they may invent a method to purify the water fetched from the rivers nearby or they can be aware of how to prevent AIDS.

2. About people's ambition and desire(also almost multifunctional)

Earning a comfortable living is a basic requirement for me in the future. Some people are not that ambitious. They just hope that they can find a decent job that enables them to support their family and their children's education. In face of this global economic crisis, more and more people are going unemployed; thereby lowering their living standard would be a good option for them. I guess a lot of people choose to earn a comfortable living just because they realize that a higher objective, a demand for large quantity of money, is too tough to come true under current bleak ambience.

Please help these two paragraphs of mine to become those of native speakers of English . Thank you!

Thereby = “doing it like that, _____”

Therefore answers “Why?”. Thereby answers “How?”.
