One afternoon at the beginning of this semester, when I was on my way to the shopping center nearby, suddenly a store with lots of miscellaneous clothes hung around came into my sight, especially with a banner reading 'huge discount for opening: office suit 30 RMB per; skirt 5 RMB per'.
What an attractive price it is. Finally my lucky day is coming. I said to myself as my body approached to the door as fast as possible.
But unfortunately, just in that a flash, three Chinese characters stopped me, and made me feel like hitting the ground heavily from the heavy.
Oh, my god, 干洗店.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for sharing this with us. So, the price was just for cleaning the suit -- not for buying it? By the way, your thread title should read 'Guess what I saw'.

You originally posted that topic in the 'New Forum Member' section. However, your post can be interesting to any of our forum members so I moved it into another section. As for my Chinese, I just used Google Translate to translate the phrase you posted into English.

Dear Torsten, I’m from Brazil and a new member of this site. First of all, I’d like you to know that I appreciate your job. Certanily you help a lof of people around the world. Yesterday I’ve started the class listening to the CD where Sue makes the introduction the material. I have to say I felt a little frustrated because I didn’t understand everything she said. I’ve been study English since 2002 and I’m not able to do that. What do you suggest to improve my English language.

Thanks a lots.

Anselmo.
