What do you want to achieve?

Are your dreams to obtain a good job, which is dependant on your reading, writing and speaking good English?
If so then you should be reading and digesting all of the articles written by Alan on the home page.

Grammatical queries can be expertly answered by Mr. Micawber and the other teachers, who voluntarily give of their time to answer the many queries that are posted here each day on the Forum.

Do you want to improve your pronunciation and understanding of the English language? ....... Easy, try our unique Voice Recorder, one of the very few offered freely to pupils.

Help with tests leading to all manner of qualifications are on the menu for your digesting.

Short stories and the odd poem are offered by yours truly on the "What do you want to talk about" column.

All in all, I feel it would be difficult for you to find a better site anywhere on the Internet.

Enrol today and do yourself a favour ........ WELCOME!!

Kitos.

Maria, the first requirement is to download Java, and install it on your computer.

Then you need an headset with an integral microphone.

After that it is childs-play to both record and listen.

Now the penny dropped! No one have told me about that before. I just have an ordinary microphone and I could just record static :-) I don't have a headset. I have downloaded Java before trying to record something.

Hi Michal,

Thanks for giving some good advice on using the recording device. I am not at all technically gifted and seem to find the whole process perfectly easy. You say you are an English student - all I can say is that you have studied well because your English comes across as excellent.

Best wishes,

Alan

Hi Michal,

I just wanted to take a minute and say hello to you. This is Tom Kane writing from the United States. WOW - you really have mastered the English language. Where did you learn to speak so well?
