Hi, I am Sel from Turkey... #61 (permalink) Tue Nov 03, 2009 3:33 am   Hi, I am Sel from Turkey...

Hello, Sel and everyone else.
I have been back from an international symposium for 3 days.
How's doing these days?
It's only two weeks left for me to prepare for my toefl test. I am merely running out my time. A little flustered yet.
Though, the symposium was really great. And I got a precious opportunity to meet with many professors and scholars both at home and abroad, which will definite be conducive to my application in the very soon. I can not stop dreaming of being a graduate within a wonderful relationship among supervisors and fellow apprentices.

I am looking forward to learn more about your recent situation.
Any funny things happened to you, please make sure to let me know.

Sincerely, naverock

Additionally, It's the most exciting and nervous thing that Toefl exam. Your toefl exam only two weeks left ? You must be very nervous.
For you, GOOD LUCK!

And hello Can, nice to meet you.
Can you speak face to face fluently? If you can speak face to face, I think you can also speak on the phone. Maybe while you are talking on the phone, you are getting excited. I can say only be relax!

Hi, Sel
I hope luck is unnecessary for me.
However, I still find time not enough for me to finish an essay and I will practice oral english more in the following days.
May you do a good job in your exam.

Hi Naiverock and Can,

In my opinion, my exams are going well. I hope I'll have good results. However It's only my prospect.
For toefl exam I'm trying to write ındependent and intragated essays and to do practise from a Toefl book. It has also CD-Rom so I'm trying to do Toefl practice in it.

I have a lot of friends who are locating in England and fUSA but we can not speak each other manytimes. Maybe better go to foreign country in order to improve english skills.

Anyway I have to continue for that time, maybe I can next years.

Do you suggest some special cd-rooms or books..

I look forward to hearing yours

Hi Sel,
I'm going to take an IELTS exam, but I think I'm like a beginner. In speaking I have much problem. If you have to participate in IELTS exam, you should talk about yourself, your family, your hobbies and etc. What kind of things do you prefer to say?
