Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People will feel happier when they finish a challenging or difficult work than they finish an easy work.
There are so many people in the world, taking different positions, dealing with miscellaneous jobs, and working hard to finish kinds of tasks. Everyone is dealing problems with various difficulty levels, while rare of them takes notice of which is happier when a specified work is done. Will people feel happier when they finish a challenging or difficult work than they finish an easy work? As the coin has two sides, there are always two voice supporting or against it. As to me, I would be much more excited and jovial when a tough thing is finished.
I enjoyed the days in a small primary school and still remember my first maths teacher Mr. WANG clearly. Since I was much more sensitive to maths than the peers around, Mr. WANG paid much attention to cultivate my interest in maths. He would often waylay me on my way to class and took out a note with a little problem or puzzle on it. These questions were usually mathematical or logical, a little more difficult but more interesting than the content in class. I still remember how happy and excited I was when questions were worked out, definitely beyond the satisfaction of finishing homework. Mr. WANG kindled me within a love of problem solving, and made me fall in love with the happiness and fulfillment when a challenging work is finished.
What's more, people intend to be more positive and active after a tough problem. I think it's the happiness and satisfaction stimulates them to pursue more similar psychological affection. My happy time in primary school is also an evidence to this conclusion. Also I think it's one important motive and inspiration pushing human to purchase modernization and civilization.
There are some surveys with the point that the men working on easy and decent jobs with fair salaries are much happier than those who're paid poor or facing lots of challenges and stresses. I will suggest you slow down to make a quick conclusion to that they feel happier when they finish an easy work instead of a challenging or difficult one. Generally, the time and stamina we use to finish a tough work is several times more than to do an easy job. And the success possibilities vary a lot. Most people feel upset or dismay when their work isn't finished in time. I think that's the reason to the phenomena in the surveys. If you ask them about the happiness and satisfaction when a challenging job is done, they will definitely told you that's much stronger and more drastic than finishing an easy work.
In sum, I insist on that people feel happier when they finish a challenging or difficult work than they finish an easy work.
