This was to be my last job. There would be no reward for this killing because I was doing it for my own satisfaction.
Alexis would die.
She who had brought about all of my pain and anger due to her lies and deception.

I'd spent every penny that I had on making her happy in our home in Greece, but she had been two-timing me from the very first day.
She had a lover who she was meeting at every opportunity.
I was even baby-sitting her son whilst she was visiting a "sick-friend".

After I discovered her deception I left her and came back to England, but the pain festered inside me like a cancer, and I vowed my revenge.
I worked long and hard on my plan, refining every detail.
There would be no margin for error.
I took several smaller contracts that netted me more than sufficient money to fund my plan.

I flew to Greece and booked into the cheapest hotel I could find.
I stayed in my room and only ventured out in the hours of darkness.
Only one person knew of my existence in Greece, an old man who had issued my keys on my arrival.
A week after my arrival I waited until the old man was asleep behind his desk, and made my way to a nearby hairdressing salon where I asked that my hair be completely shaved from my head.
The Greek hairdresser didn't bat an eyelid at my request, and I left the salon looking like Yul Brynner.
Next stop was to a wig-maker where I purchased the most obvious and cheapest wig in the shop.
Next call was to an opticians where I purchased a pair of brown contact lenses.
Then a baseball cap to top it off.

My next visit was to a local restaurant that I knew Alexis was very fond of.
We had been there together on several occasions and I knew the layout quite well.

I managed to gain employment as a food-preparer in the kitchen, and I was happy to note the knowing looks the other staff exchanged when they saw my wig.
Good, all part of the plan.

After several fruitless weeks I was beginning to think that she had changed her eating routine, but then she appeared, accompanied by yet another new man.
This is what I had waited for all these many years.

She and her partner ate their meal slowly amid much joking and laughing. Oh how I hated her.
Eventually their waiter came in and ordered baklava, her favourite sweet.

I gently dripped the cyanide onto both ends of her treat and gave it to her waiter.
I watched through the serving hatch as she greedily scooped a huge forkful into her mouth, and I rejoiced as she suddenly gagged and fell face-down into her desert.
Oh she was dead. No doubt about that.
My only regret was that she would never know that it was I who had delivered the fatal blow.

Before the uproar broke out I signalled the chef that I was going for a cigarette out in the back alley. He nodded his consent and I moved out quickly.
Once outside I dumped my kitchen coverall into a convenient dumper and raced to the main street where I hailed a passing taxi.

We drove to my hotel and I retrieved my already prepared case.
I casually walked past the sleeping old man and hailed another taxi, this time to the railway station.
I boarded the train to Athens and took a comfortable seat in an empty compartment.

As we passed through the dark countryside I threw the wig and the brown contact lenses into the balmy night.
We arrived in Athens and I booked into a lovely hotel were I spent several weeks letting my hair grow, sunbathing and reading about the police search for the suspected killer of a beautiful Greek woman in a small restaurant.

Revenge is best served cold, especially in a dessert!

Kitos.

Oh, no! please, continue the story!
The killer should take his punishment, no reason to justify his revenge!
And as Agatha Christie said "Crime is terribly revealing. Try and vary your methods as you will, your tastes, your habits, your attitude of mind, and your soul is revealed by your actions."

Why? Do you think men don't feel empty when they have been cheated on? :)

Yes, men have feelings and yes the woman in the sotry has done a lot of mistakes but the man or the killer did a big mistake (unforgivable) and it can't compared to all the things that she did to him!!
So, I'm feelings sorry for her!
