It's a long story but I'll make it short... 
I'm 25 years years old, and I've been staying here in the US for five years now. I used to be a guy who doesn't want to study English and any other academic books because I still don't know what I want in life. I have spent the last five years as an alcoholic, going home from work and playing video games. I was isolated with people around me as a result.
It's a long story but after working to get my life figured out this past months, I have managed to remove all the things that have been holding me back. Yes I managed to get rid my alcoholism and all of my bad habits.
I started studying English seriously about a month ago. It was hard because my body wasn't very used studying for a very long time. But just like what I've heard somewhere: "The more you do it, the more easier it is" - I just kept on working hard and going. Now I have trained my body that I reach the point where I could study all day without a problem. (Yep, a big YES! Haha.)
I have decided to change because I found a passion, something in life that is really meaningful to me. It really feels good to have a passion so strong that I just can't wait in the morning to work with it. I won't say what it is haha, but yes, in my case learning English is the first step towards that dream.
That is my motivation, and it's nice to be here!
