Can anyone correct my essay please?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Grades (marks) encourage student to learn. Use specific reason and examples to support your opinion.

At first glance it seems very difficult for us to draw a definite conclusion if grade is the only motivation for student to learn or not. After a serious consideration we can see that grade is not the only reason that makes student to study and learn. Generally, there are a lot of factors which encourage them to learn like the teacher’s ability to teach, student’s prier, and the facility of school. However, I think that grade is the important and main stimulant for students to study.

To begin with, the first and foremost reason for my propensity lies in the competition that arises among students. Gaining the highest score among students more stimulate them to study and learn. Every student likes to be one of the top students and well stepped in their own class. They like to being admire for the high marks that they earn. So, I think it is one the privilege of grades.

Secondly, which way do you suggest to encourage student to study without using the grades? Of course, there is no motivation as well as grades. Teachers can motivate student just by promising them to give grades. For example, sometimes they said “if you done your assignments appropriately, you would get 20 percent of total mark. So, considering this situation, students are urged to concentrate to their study just to get their assignment done properly.

Last but not least, I strongly believe that grade is main part of education because it shows students’ abilities. By this, students can see in which field of study they can have more successes. Besides to students, teachers would be able to evaluate their students by comparing their grades. For example, my grades on math almost were very good while on the writing skill was weak. For this, my teachers and my parent encouraged me to peruse my education in the engineering. Currently, I am very successful in engineering study. I appreciate my parent and my teachers.

So based on all the above mentioned point, I think grades not only encourage student to study, but also it would be the best way to identify the student skills. Recognizing skill and ability, they would be able to find in which areas they will succeed.

"and Well stepped" in the paragraph 2 should be removed.
