Essay: Does easier-prepared food improve the way people live?

Topic: Nowadays, food has become easier to prepare. Has this change improved the way people live? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Frankly speaking, I think easier-prepared food is one important item of human civilization. Such invention saves a lot time for modern people to prepare dinners. without complex dinner preparation steps, we, humans, could do much more important work. To some extent, it liberates people from kitchen chores, especially women, and improves our life quality.

However, when we are celebrating those great inventions including easier-prepared food by sitting more in front of TV or Computers, we also gradually find some problems become visible and tangible.

First, some amusements we used to enjoy with our family or friends become a little not distinct as usual. For example, preparation for dinners was an important family activity in the past. The whole family gathered around, washing vegetables and cleaning tables together, while chattering with other family members in the same time. But in the current days, we just leave out this important step of family communication, and begin to eat the fast food.

Second, easier-prepared food are usually lacking of some specified nutrition, due to its fast production and convenience purpose. As a result, more and more people are getting fatter and some affluenza become much more common than before, such as obesity and diabetes. Easier-prepared food should be partially responsible for these phenomena.

So, I think the easier-prepared food is like the coin, which has its two sides. No side can exist without the other one. What really matters is our attitudes towards having easier-prepared food. Overall, I think we definitely need these kinds of food, for it can save us much time when our busy moments come. Also, we must control the frequency of having easier-prepared food, for the sake of good health.

In my opinion:

1-Some phrases and words you have use seems not appropriate in sentences
Like: Frankly speaking in the first sentence-Nutrition for foods- visible and tangible for problems and so forth.
2-Your essay, which consists of 281 words, is short.
3-I suppose that you didn’t outline before starting to write.

Honestly speaking, I really find it not easy to match some words together appropriately.
Thanks to you all, friends and moderators, to help me revise my essay.
Another problem you mentioned seems to be structure issue. I will think more and make a clear outline in mind before starting to write.
In addition, I will try to write more next time.
