Woman: Yes, along with the profit and loss statement. Question: How did Ms. Miller prepare for the meeting? (A) She revised the inventory reports. (B) She prepared sales forecasts. (C) She drafted delivery reports. (D) She wrote the profit and loss statement.
Now, according to the conversation, (B) and (C) should be correct because in my opinion "to draft" also means to "prepare" and "delivery reports" is the same as "shipping schedules" or am I wrong? |
Hi, only answer (B) is correct because Ms. Miller prepared the sales forecasts. She also drafted the shipping schedules. However, shipping schedules and delivery reports are two different things. The shipping schedules tell you when goods are shipped and they are vaild for a period of time so they also refer to the future. Delivery reports give an account of the shipping activities in the past so they don't refer to the future. _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |
