John: Do you know where James Street is?
Joseph: No, I don't. I think Mary will know. Ask her.

Is the usage of will in the above context fine? Does it mean that there's a good chance that Mary knows where James Street is. Can would be used in its place? Would it change the meaning of the sentence?

Hi Daemon,

Good to hear from you again

'Will' here suggests that Mary definitely knows whereas 'would' suggests more that it's probable she knows.
