Hiya,
I've been there, took the test. It wasn't that bad what I taught, reading sections weren't bad, I've got 8-9 passage to read, questions weren't hard. Then listening questions mmm were pretty hard and I think that I didn't do well on it. The speaking part was OK not that bad, and writing parts were also OK. I was worried about the 1 writing task where you have to listen to lecture and then write down what you've heard. I took some note and maneged to compose the essay. The integration essay was also OK I wrote 319 words, which is not that bad and maneged to check my spelling. Well now it's waiting game which is really killing. I'm not hoping to pass from my first attempt I even suspecting that I've failed the listening part. For those who are going to do their test, before the test take lots of coffee to keep yourself alert. When I've got there around 10 am in the listening part I realized that I've wanted to sleep and that was made me not to concentrate well enough.
Marfik, how are you? Yes I want to live in Ireland. What about you? |

Thank you Thakkarvijayrajiv Good job. I wish you luck Marfik I'm glad to hear it Natasha as far as I know you can take the test several times, as you wish. However, you couldn't take it two times in one week. _________________ The limits of my language are the limits of my universe.

| So, I took my TOEFL.... finally. The reading passages were pretty difficult (I had 3, the last one was a bit easier), listening wasn't very difficult, I think I did it pretty well. Still not sure about speaking, suddenly I became very nervous (test administrator told us that microfones weren't work properly, and we should speak as louder as possible, or computer wouldn't record our answers). Probably it wasn't the best speaking ever, but I believe that it's not so bad. Writing was easier than I thought. I wrote 304 words (it's is a big achievement for me). I'm not sure that I'm going to get the highest score, but I'll see. The most difficult part is over, now I have to wait... |
