sit=(British English) to take an examination:
you are going to sit for the exam.
If you are going to take TOEFL test don't use British English(for IELTS test).

Thanks Richard Jack, really I was rushing and did not double check what I've wrote above.
Marfik, I'm holding my fingers crossed. I booked as well for the Cambridge test in a month of December just in case if I'll not pass the TOEFL test. |

| I hope to, ahh ..... Where are you going to do your test? I'm currently in Dublin, here people more prefer to do either Cambridge or IELTS. British test looks a bit easier than the TOFEL. |

Do not worry...have faith in yourself.....don't be stressed or it will affect your score. Please go with a positive mental attitude.
