Hi Embee,

Barrons TOEFL with CD is a very good book and simulates the actual TOEFL

CD has sample responses to each and every question in each section which is of a great help and will help you to prepare accordingly.

40 Listening exercises on this website is also of a great help. Try to complete all of them and also read answers to sample essay questions.

Hi, I did buy the book with CD as well, also at the end of the test it shows your score, but I'm still very weak in a reading section I've founded that reading sections are really tough. Did you take any note while you were reading?

Ya its true that reading is tough
I did not take any notes while reading as you don't have enough time in had to do so.
I appeared for TOEFL on 18th Oct 2009- In Reading i had 9 Passages each containing 14 Questions. Of 9 Passages 6 were easy 1 was mediocre and 2 were difficult.
Remember 1 thing that of 9 passages only 6 are scored so try to do well in all of them. And from my past experiences i known that last passage i.e 9th appears to be easy but is difficult to grasp.

So the last sections looks more trickiest? What about writing section? Where I have to listen to lecture and then write whatever I've understood?

Writing is damn easy. After 1st Essay i had 8 min in hand and i completed 2nd essay within 15 min.
Reading passage will be on the screen..so just concentrate on the listening part of the first essay. Do not copy-paste but instead write everything in your own word in a concise manner.

What about timing? Did you have enough time to for Reading? And speaking. Was it difficult for you?

In speaking it depends on how well you organize your thoughts and say it in 45 sec especially in 1st 2 questions since they are open-ended,whereas in reading you may face difficulty in end 1 or 2 passages
