It is very funny to see how the West is trying to use the methods of advertisement of Coca Cola company to export the orange or pink revolution in Belarus. All Western Europe is seting their wits to work to find a colour for revolution in Belarus. From blackberry to cornflower. The specialists of political advertisement branded Belarus as Europe's last dictatoship. Particularly the politicians from Poland are doing their best to cash in a political luggage on situation in Belarus. But it is better to be the last dictatorship in Europe than the first prostitute of Europe.
Recall the Polish plumber on billboards promising to satisfy all wishes of Western momen who will visit Poland by ones and twos it doesn't matter.

What did the advertisment have to do with Polish government?! It was made by Dutch:). And the last two sentences were said by your dictator. It's a shame of him. A strong man doesn't have to offend other people to exist.

Not only Polish people go abroad to earn money. There is a significant number of people from Belarus working in Poland simply because of a lower standard of living in your country. And I would never call them prostitutes; they work hard to save money and this is their decision. There are also prostitues among them but they are everywhere. If you have children (do you?), you can't give them ideology to eat for breakfast. We had experienced that for many years (luck of food and basic goods but much ideology/passports as presents). So I don't think it's a shame working.

Anyway, I prefer my freedom now whatever you call it than letting anyone wash my brain.

I think it is better for all of us to live in peace so I just want to dedicate "Imagine" to you Smile. People do not differ as much as you think.

Hello Igor, thank you for bringing up the situation in Belarus. You say that the all Western Europe is trying to export the orange revolution to Belarus. At least that's I intepret your statement. So what is the current situation in Belarus? I have been travelling to many European countries and I think and most people there aren't even aware of the fact that Belarus exists. They do know however, about Poland because it is now part of the EU. Based on your comments about the 'Polish plumber' it seems to me that you are a bit frustrated with what is going on (or rather what is not going on) in Belarus? I'm also convinced that Belarus has got a lot of intelligent people that do want to bring about a change in their country and maybe we should exchange information on we can move forward rather than trying tell negative things about each other? It's pretty obvious that after the Soviet Union and the fell apart some regions in East and Central Europe are developing faster than others. But the people in all of those countries want the same things: stability, a good job that pays a decent income, sound education for their children, material prosperity etc. Now, what do you think we will achieve if we offend each other? Do you think our politicians will change for the better? Are you trying to say that people in Belarus are the better than people in Poland other vice versa? They are basically the same in any country.

One of the most famous and indeed important books of the last century was written by George Orwell and is called "Animal Farm". In the story the animals have a revolution and throw out ther farmer. Gradually the animals organise their own society and as so often occurs in the real world, the revolution turns bad and the "new" society becomes worse than the original one. At the beginning the slogan "All animals are equal" is created by the pigs and repeated endlessly by the sheep. Then slowly this changes and the new slogan becomes: "All animals are equal but some are more equal than others".
These words are urgent now too. It turns out that Poland and Ukraine is more democratic than Belarus. That is why Poland is trying to use polish minority in Belarus to destabilize the situation in Belarus, planning to built a radiostation to transmit slanders, hosting different political corpses, paying money of the Polish tax-payers to the Belarus opposition. Kievstar is not right when he writes that nobody in Europe knows Belarus. For two months the Euronews were teransmiting interview with four young blockheads from Belarus. One of them was on hunger strike. But why he is alive. He should have died for idea of BlackBerry revolution in Belarus. There are five millions of unemployed in Poland. Where is your "Solidarnost". Why don't it support their right to work. Leh Walensa visited The Congress of Opposition held in Minsk. Let him help polish unemployed to get "a good job, a decent income, sound education for their children, material prosperity", as Kievstar wrote. Yes, Kievstar, the West knows Poland better than Belarus because it terror-stricken of the possibility of the invasion of five millions Polish plumbers to the West.
For twenty years I lived in Kiev. And I was in Kreschatik (the main street of Kiev) 15 years ago. It was when Ukraine got an independence. There were mitings on Kreschatik and people were shouting: "We are free now. Ukraine has everything to be prosperouse country." 15 years have passed. Nothing happened. "The more equal animals" in Ukraine became very rich, but the majority lives as the citisens of the poverty stricken country. The former collective formers were told: "You are free now. It is not nesessary for you to work for the state. You should work for yourself". It is like in the "Animal Farm". But they were not given tractors. It is impossible for them to buy tractors, good seed, fertilizers, herbicides and have an agronomical support. So the family buys the manual plough, invites all relatives from the village, harness youself in the plough and plough the land. "The more equal pigs" (mediators) buy the
crop. There are four times more mediators than peasants. That is why carrot costs more than banana.
The "Orange revolution" took place in Ukraine. Nothing happened again. Yushenko has betrayed the ideas of Maidan. He fired Julija Timoshenko. He conduct himself like a prostitute (or progmatic politician) as you like it. He promised to Bush (his "Big brother"-a character of onother Orwell's novel) to do his best to export the Orange revolution to Belarus. He sought that all democracies were equal, but his and Bush's were more equel. But now he is a best friend of Lukashenko. He sent his prime-minister to Belarus and is going to visit Belarus himself.
Yes, KIevstar and katarzyna, the people in Belarus is not better than in Poland and Ukraine, but we have chosen our own way and I don't like that Poland and Ukraine are trying to interfere in our affaires and brainwashing me, that your democracy is better than our.
