I'm sorry. I don't want to reply because I don't want to be banned.

Why on Earth would you get banned Richard?

Well, Kitos, the very first question is that, why you write horror stories only? I am afraid of all of such things. But, I read your stories for sentence structure and vocabulary.

Can't you write something about families, about love and life, about society or anything in the world. :)
Well the second question is, it should be "an" hundred years or "a" hundred years?

Actually - I must stand up for Bill here.

My only question with Bills stuff if I had one would be the exact opposite -
- that most of the stuff he writes is too "Lovey Dovey" or "too nice" or even "Not edgy enough"

Old proverb - "You can only please some of the people some of the time."

You can't win Bill :-)

Hi Jamie,
I've just learned your name from your first post in last year. You must have misunderstood me. It's not a civilized conversation. Besides, I think you are too much older than me so my only answer to your post would be 'silence'. I'm sorry, if you think I was not polite. I sent you a pm. Pleased to meet you. :-)

That was a great story Mr.Kitos. Really enjoyed reading it :)! Though I think I noticed there were two possible grammer mistakes I found. May be I am wrong, if I am then please kindly correct me. Thank you.

1- You have not used apostrophe repeatedly:-
" Jennies sister decided to take a stroll on the moor." or "It didn't take an Einstein for the police to agree where Jennies sister was."
I think it should be Jennie's sister. There should be a apostrophe after Jennie.

2-Guests were awakened by the sounds of partying going on downstairs, yet went they went downstairs silence prevailed and the rooms were found to be empty.
I think it should be "yet when they went down stairs..."

Hello Katty,

You are absolutely right about the errors being there, though I believe they are typing errors rather than grammatical errors. Well spotted, though. The fact that you picked up on them shows that you are alert and thinking about the language patterns while you read.

It shows that even the best of us -- and the most practiced in use of the language -- make mistakes. Our mistakes can be used to help both ourselves and others, so maybe mistakes aren't such a bad thing.

Perhaps you would kindly permit me to correct some of the most common errors in your post?
'grammer' should be 'grammar'. This is a common spelling error so it is worth double checking it.
'may be' derives from 'it may be' but in this context it is shortened to one word, "maybe".
'a apostrophe' should be 'an apostrophe'. The indefinite article changes from 'a' to 'an' before this vowel.

Good morning Katty. You are absolutely correct. My fingers outrun my brain sometimes, and I am too engrossed in the finishing of the tale to notice every mistake I make.
Not offering this as an excuse. I just do the best that I can.

Thank you for pointing them out.
