Which one is correct?

- His passion is cars.
- His passion are cars.

The word "cars" is plural but the first sentence sounds more natural for me for some reason....

Hi,

I would say 'His passion is' because 'passion' is singular and the subject.

Ahhh! Why I didn't see that!

- My passion is cars.
- My passions are watching socker and playing instruments.

I appreciate it Alan. :)
