Hi,
Possibly 'unite' could suit what you are looking for. This obviously comes up in 'United Nations'.

Correlate? Synchronize? Collate? Integrate? Reconcile? These words all refer to that kind of process in different situations. _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |

Unite would definitely refer to making one from many, which is the opposite of what I'm looking for |

Dear Unomyname,
Will the word " uniform" as a verb and the same word as an adjective solve your puzzle?
Good luck.

Hello there,
Reading your post, the first suggestions that crossed my Portuguese-speaking mind were: 1) standardize 2) equalize Yuri's "to uniform" also seems valid, but maybe too relatable to clothing (what do natives say about this?). The action "regularize" may imply that they (the whatevers) (<- cool name for a teenager garage band, hu?) were all "irregular"/"wrong"/"worse" before, but it's still a specialized way to meet your demand...
This all, of course, bears in mind your "1 word only" request, because you can always say "make them (/the whatevers) equal", "bring them to a standard (that results from their merge/combination/unification/coincidences/your-chance-to-specify-the-method-and-how-they'll-all-look-like)"
Hope this helps!
Multiple, equally-cheerful (but still individual) cheers, Planta. |
