Hi Jane,
Are you from Vietnam? In this case you are much nearer to me than Alan is and I can hear you.
Just a joke.
Keep learning.

Hello everyone!
Tonight I will go to the movies to see 2012 with a friend. I rarely ever go to a movie theater, so this will be a very special experience for me.
Tomorrow night I will go to a concert. It's the 10 year anniversary tour of Gregorian - Masters of Chant. I am really, really, really looking forward to that! I saw them two years ago when they held a Christmas concert at one of the churches in Würzburg, and they were great then! But tomorrow night will be a much bigger show. So really, I can't wait!
I hope you all are having a great weekend!

Good morning everyone. I thought I would speak my latest offering here today, as it get a little boring forever talking about my dogs.
Winters with us once again, Now days of sun are few. The trees without their golden leaves, The little birds, so few. For Winters here, its time to reign, To bring us to our senses. That life can't ever stay the same, We have to build defences. Against the snow, the hail and ice, 'Gainst winds that cull the weak. 'Gainst mornings dark and evenings long, Folk have no time to speak. Little children warmly wrapped, Hurrying to their classes. Cheeks and noses cherry red, Off to join the masses. But soon Spring will roll round again, The trees and bushes bloom. And once again we'll feel the warmth, Of sunshine in our rooms. _________________ Keep it simple ... Keep it interesting. |

Hi Yuri,
I can hear you loud and clear. Well, today is another rainy day -a real rotter as we say. I keep meaning to get the garden tidied up but never seem to get round to it. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak as the old saying goes. I have a conservatory attached to the back of the house and one of the pleasures of sitting there most seasons is to see the birds feeding but about a year ago my neighbours got a bit jittery because they had seen rats wandering around and it was they that were tucking into the bird food( the rats I mean not the neighbours) and so we carried out an embargo and didn't put any food out. But I miss the birds and so I am thinking of breaking this self imposed embargo and trying to entice them back with appropriate bird food. Any ideas how to feed the birds and not the rats?

Hi Alan,
I think it is simple to solve your problem. Why not attach any feeding device for the birds in the air? You can fasten this device to a bough of a tree or you can erect a pole in the garden and attach a feeder (can I use this word for a device for feeding birds?) to a top of a pole. And they (I mean rats not neighbours) will never get birds food.
Actually we haven't got problems with rats in hear. Last I saw them about 20 years ago. Rather disgusting creatures indeed!
Nice to talk to you.

Hi Yuri,
Thanks for the advice. I think that's what I'll have to do. The only problem is that birds are not the tidiest of eaters and tend to drop the food onto the grass below. Anyway I'll give it a try.

Hi Borislav,
I'm an admirer of Einstein for his brain and for what he had given to the Human Evolution. However, his personality in private life, according to many documantaries, doesn't seem to be that excellent...If you are interested to know more, please have a look at this link: http://www.chowk.com/articles/9433
I feel a bit sorry mostly for his first 2 women, and reluctant to believe that he had never acknowledged his first wife Maleva Maric's contribution to his success... But that's life...nobody is perfect, right ?
Bye for now,
Huong. |

Hello everybody,
I'm not going to say much about the movie, in case any of you want to go see it. I wouldn't want to spoil your fun by blabbering about what the movie was like.
But the concert was fantastic! Gregorian - Masters of Chant really deliver a great show! They had wonderful visual acts with lights and laser and burning torches. Their singing was outstanding, flawless, truly angelic! Ah, what else can I say, best see for yourself. I would like to share a picture with you all, so you get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Until soon,
Claudia

P.S. I took this picture during last night's show. I took lots of pictures yesterday and I appreciate Gregorian for being so tolerant to allow cameras without flash. _________________ In the land of the ignorant, the biggest fool is king. |

Hi All,
How was your weekend ? I hope you enjoyed yourselves like Claudia did.
As for me, I've had a good time too. Sunday was a rainy day...however in the morning I went to the swimmingpool as usual. I often go to swim once a week. Not much, eh, you may say. But that's ok, it's not a training for me :)
And in the evening I went to dance ! I've been learning Country dance for one year long, and really fancy it ! I also like country music a lot. Last year, I happened to have a curious look at an event about horse races and Western lifestyle, and saw for the first time in my life this kind of imported dancing. Then I started to learn, it was hard at the beginning (I had never danced in my life before !) but now I'm happy to sweat a bit each evening. I'm going twice a week actually.
Does country dance exist in your country ?
What do you usually do in your free time, as physical activity ?
I'll be glad to hear from you.
