Project management software?

Hi, does anyone of you have any experience with project management systems? I've been trying out Elance which is quite good but it has some flaws too. For example, it doesn't allow you to fund additional milestones out of the initial escrow payment. In other words, if you want to create and fund a new milestone, the payment for that milestone is automatically added to the payment of the Final Deliverable.

Other than that, Elance is a very sophisticated system.

Any ideas on that?
