Your question should read: "Why do they have reactions to drugs?"
As far as your question, people sometimes have adverse (bad) reactions to certain drugs because everyone is different. For example, some people might be overly sensitive or allergic to certain medications etc. while others are not. Also, some drugs have side effects that only affect certain individuals.
