Hello. Is this sentence correct: This is the news we have been hearing today.
I mean, can use present perfect in connection with a time indicator like "today"?
Thanks

.
Yes indeed, you can; today has duration in this sentence. Another, clearer example: I have been sitting here all day today, inputting data into my computer.
