Some people believe that the Earth is being harmed (damaged) by human activity. Others feel that human activity makes the Earth a better place to live. What is your opinion? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Some people believe that the earth is being damaged by human activity. Others feel that human activity makes the Earth a better place to live. I am one who thinks the human activity is doing a huge damage to the Earth in its environment, weather and natural resources. Let me show you what is happening in our home planet today.

Human activity is destroying the environment with tons of contamination produced by factories, cars and a lot more of activities. A great example of this damage is: All the garbage and wastes that we throw out on rivers and oceans, creating a big problem to the nature because it cannot process all our wastes at the same velocity that we throw it. With this we are breaking the balance of the environment and finally this will be reflected in other aspects like weather or natural resources.

We are changing the weather, thanks to the smoke and contamination produced by our likes for fossil-combustibles. That creates weird changes. A reflect of this are all those tsunamis and storms in Asia and USA with many casualties. That is a real proof of this bad change.

Moreover, we are abusing of our natural resources. We are exploiting it, without any precaution and that cause a big impact on the earth's environment. We are taking all those resources like wood or water from natural reservoirs and we are not leaving anything to the other species like animals and insects and they have the same right to enjoy those resources. It is not a fare play against nature!

Therefore, I think the human activity is doing a big damage to the earth's environment. Humans could invest more in activities to protect the environment and repair the damage made than create more factories and products which pollute the Earth.
