'The advent of the Internet is a twentieth-century change that has strongly affected our life.'

The twentieth century saw great change. The advent of the Intermet should be remembered about the twentieth century:
_It brodens our knowledge by opening a new window on the world
_ It helps us to communicate with each other
_ It has a great influence on our mind

I think of the three ideas but they aren't good enough. Also can you give me the support for examples?
