What you would have chosen, if you were at his place? #1 (permalink) Sat Nov 14, 2009 20:00 pm   What you would have chosen, if you were at his place?

I constructed a sentence as written below:

******************************************

What you would have chosen, if you were at his place?

******************************************

Is it making correct sense? Sir/madam. I am given condition for a listener to think. As if he were the other person.

Please correct me if I am wrong somewhere...

regards...

I think you want to say:

What would you choose if you were in his shoes?

Here is a page that may help: Conditionals or "On Condition"

Firstly, thanks sir for your responce that so early. But I would love to know a bit more detail about the same. Here I have a little doubt.

What would you choose - What is the correct meaning of this peice of sentence. Or in exact word I want to know in what is the sense of "Would" here.

Hope you will be able to shed some light over this.

Thanks and regards,
Andy

I think you know Conditional Sentences.

Read about it here: Conditional Sentences. It is simple.

Good luck.
