I need some good advice.

I graduated a few years ago and I am going back to school next summer for a graduate degree. I am planning on taking the GRE in the Spring and was wondering if anyone here could recommend some helpful sites or study guides. I know for the LSAT they offered courses that helped people prepare, but I think I should be ok studying on my own for the GRE. I just need to know where I can find some study guides/ practice tests that I can use. Thanks in advance.

A good book for the theory part of the GRE would be the Barron's guide.

A good book for practice tests is the GRE big book. Type in GRE big book softcopy into google to try to find an online version since it's out of print. It's good to use this book for the verbal sections only since the math section is out of date.

These practice tests are good, but they may not give hard enough questions. If you buy the new Kaplan book you get some adaptive tests that a pretty accurate. They helped me get a good idea of where I was at.
