Hello,

could anybody explain to me the meaning of the phrase " like-to-like"? I came across it in this sentence:
On new markets products are not always adopted on a like-to-like basis.

Prompt reply will be greatly appreciated :)
Thanks in advance!
Raf

May be you meant "like-for-like"
if yes here is the Explanation:
"If something is done on a "like-for-like" basis, it generally means that it is done based on two causes/items of the same nature."
