What is the difference between

I am travelling to london next sunday.

I am going to travel to london next sunday.

I suppose there is no big difference. It depends on what you want to say. If you already made your decision and made a note in your notebook :) about this trip you can say "I am travelling to london next sunday."
but if you aren't sure about date of this trip but you really want to go to London you can say "I am going to travel to london next sunday."
