Simple. register for GRE and Try to do the exam well. You can feel a significant improvement on your Vocabulary after you are done with the exam.

"Practise" is a variant of "practice" (which can be used as both a noun and a verb).

As far as I know, "practise" is chiefly British, whereas Americans prefer to use "practice". Correct me, if I am mistaken. :)

I agree, when it is used as a verb; but the noun is always practice.
