I have a question about the above mentioned reflexiv pronouns.
When do I use themself and when itself, and is there a plural form of itself?
I thouht we use themself only for persons and itself for things and animals.
Am I correct?

Kindly
Bernd

'Themself' is not a word. 'Themselves' is the 3rd person plural. It can be used of things if the the action or non-action is possible for things: 'Pencils cannot sharpen themselves'. It is also used of people: 'The boys injured themselves skiiing.'

'Itself' is singular and is used of things and human babies of unknown sex.
