Hi Pasici,

'If you will...' isn't really a conventional conditional form. It is used in the sense of saying: If you insist on doing something/If you persist in doing something. Here is an example:

If you will keep on buying things you don't really need, you will end up with no money.

Another use would be to suggest 'if you want to ...' as in:

A Shall I try to do this now?

B Yes,if you will. (That suggests: If that is your wish).

you use past simple when you refer to an action started and finished in the past at a specific time. sometimes you donīt mention that time( for example:yesterday, last year etc) but you do have a time in mind. you can use past simple to refer to a habbit in the past, but which you donīt do in the present( for example: i studied Geography when i was young).
in this case you can use "used to" ( i used to study ageography when I was young).

past continuous is used to say that something was taking place in the past.you are interested in the continuity of the action. The long action(past continuous) is interrupted by a short action(past simple). For example: when i was having lunch Marry came in.
But if instead of a past simple you have a past continuous, than you have two action in parallel. For example: when I was having lunch Mary was reading a book.
