Appreciate any comments that point out mistakes in this letter, thank you! ___________________________________________________________ Dear Sir/Madam,
I recommend CG to take advanced studies in your university and I hope he will have a glorious future.
CG held his position as an intern in financial department that I am in charge of. His job responsibilities include rendering an account in which he could get familiar with the accounting treatment of invoice and verification of running account. At the very beginning he was a little inefficient because of lack of experience, but his responsibility moved me a lot. For several times I've seen him still working after work hours to decrease error rate; whatever he was not clear about, he always consulted with his older colleagues. Generally speaking, I'm satisfied with his job, compared against dozens of students I've ever taught, CG ranks in top 3.
CG's colleagues are five years older than him, in average. At first I was afraid that he couldn't get along with his colleagues, but it wasn't long before my concern disappeared. CG always keeps up with current affairs and has an extensive knowledge, therefore he readily integrated with our community. Once two employees disputed about the task, CG helped resolve their conflicts through humorous self-mockery. In addition, CG treats people sincerely and patiently. Whenever he met us, we were always greeted by his smile. We all like him very much. When accomplishing internship here, he gave us a beautiful origami butterfly which is now put on the window sill of his office. Thus I believe he is ready to adapt to new circumstances in your university and to contribute to his community.
Something else I have to mention is that CG is hardworking and passionate. He was always the earliest one reaching the office and then sweeping the floor. So we could have a clean and tidy environment to work.
In the light of his excellence, I hope you will provide him with some qualities he is lack of in his dream road. Al least I completely support his decision and recommend him to your program.
