This is something I have been in doubt about myself.

Is this a good sentence?

I'm going to the hairdresser?

Isn't it hairdresser's

Hello,
You can use either "I'm going to the hairdresser" (the person, the professional) or "I'm going to the hairdresser's (salon)".
I would make that optional "salon" explicit in formal writing, if I were to use the possessive.

Shorthaired cheers!
Planta.
