Sorry for you, Nzuahp. Such things do happen sometimes. ETS will be responsible to the accidents. Take it easy. Have you been informed when to retake the TOEFL test? _________________ It will sure be a lot of fun here to make friends with you guys. |

Not yet. The test administrators said they were going to write a report to ETS. So I am still waiting for the next date to be announced. _________________ Practice makes perfect. |

Hi Nzuahp Don't worry. You are good at English so there is nothing to be worried about. Do not despair. You will take it by the way. Don't be in a rush. :) _________________ Global Marketing |

Look at the good side of things. You have several days more to prepare for the test. Of course, I hope it will not disturb your schedule. _________________ It will sure be a lot of fun here to make friends with you guys. |

That's fine to call me naiverock. Nzuaph, do you have an English name? I really have no idea of the pronunciation of your nickname 'Nzuaph'. Andy _________________ It will sure be a lot of fun here to make friends with you guys. |

Nzuahp, I can't begin to imagine your frustration and disappointment over what has happened.
All I can say is that I have no doubts that you need have no worries.
You have proved that you are up to more than the required standard to sail through this test without even "breaking into a sweat."

Thanks for the encouragement Kitos. Together with you people, I will keep up studying and to take the disappointment as an opportunity.
Once more, thanks for being there for me. I love you all _________________ Practice makes perfect. |

That's too bad about the technical glitch and your never-ending wait, Nzuahp. I know how frustrating high-tech glitches can be. But I think you've had a few good comments from some of the others in this thread. Look on the bright side: You now have a bit more time to get ready for the test. :D
It's hard to be sure exactly what sort of server problem it was, though. For example, a large website that I visit regularly (not ETS) was not accessible for hours and hours and hours on Thursday. Friends of mine everywhere in the US all had the same problem. The website was also not accessible in Australia. However, oddly enough, nobody had problems accessing the site in Europe. Oh, the joys of high-tech. lol

Thanks for the explanation Esl_Expert. I can now understand that it was some how a general problem in the US. It is frustrating but I will cease the opportunity to do more practice for the time been as you have rightly said.
Thanks for explaining what was happening over there. _________________ Practice makes perfect. |
