Hello KO9, thanks for expressing your interest in France. Paris is indeed an outstanding city though it can require a lot of energy to here at times. As for ?cole Polytechnique (pleased mind spelling) yes of course I know this university, many of my colleagues have studies there. Have you ever been to France or any other European country? Why do you are you so passionate about France? |

OK., thanks.
Well, do many people speak English in France? French is also an international language, so I think there are not many French people who speak English.... |

| Hello tortoise. Yes of course French is also an important language but English is the language of international business, science and technology. That's why more and more people in France are learning English. As you probably know English contains many words that are of French origin so it's quite easy for any French person to understand English. |

Hi toeic,
I've studied French for 2 years in school. But I find it difficult to learn French. It's difficult to remember that the word is "masculin" or "femelle". I have 3 periods of French and 3 periods of English a week. It's not too much.
Can you give me some advice to learn French better?
Regards. |

Hello Tortoise, does your nickname have anything to do with the pace at which you are learning languages? Just a joke You ask how you can learn French. The methods and techniques are certainly the same you are using to learn English. You should listen to French radio stations, watch movies in French, read articles and books in French. And of course you can talk to French speakers in French. Also, you might want to try audio language programs such as Pimsleur or online resources. |
